Frequently asked questions
How long does a typical refurbishment take?
Timelines depend on the size and scope of the refurbishment. Once we understand the layout changes, access and level of work involved, we will provide a realistic programme and keep you updated as the job progresses.
Can I live in the house during a refurbishment?
Often, yes. This depends on the extent of the work and which areas are affected. We plan the build to minimise disruption and will talk this through with you before work starts.
What type of refurbishment work do you carry out?
Full and partial refurbishments, internal layout changes, structural alterations, kitchens, bathrooms and general upgrades. We can take on individual rooms or whole-house projects.
Do you help with planning permission and building control?
Yes. Where approvals are required, we regularly work with architects and building control and can help guide you through what is needed.
How do you handle changes during the refurbishment?
Any changes are discussed first, clearly priced, and agreed before work continues. This keeps costs transparent and avoids surprises later.
Will I have one main point of contact?
Yes. You deal directly with the people running the job, which keeps communication clear and decisions straightforward.
Yes. We carry full public liability and employer’s liability insurance, so your home and everyone on site is properly covered.
